Mini blinds are a the least expensive of all blinds. They provide easy and intuitive light control and privacy. These are the easiest to install and operate. Due to their thin profile, mini blinds are ideal for windows and doors with shallow depth.
Micro-blinds are nearly identical to mini-blinds, though they are more shallow than mini-blinds. These blinds are sometimes found within double-pane windows, though sometimes not, and can come in a variety of colors.
These are genuine wood mini-blinds that resemble other mini-blinds, but are made of real wood. They provide the room-darkening effect of mini-blinds, while providing windows with the look and feel of actual wood.
Faux wood blinds resemble genuine wood blinds, but are made of vinyl. They have the same look and feel as real wood blinds, but are more economical to purchase and maintain.

Pleated shades, from the side, resemble a fan-folded paper. They have a string running up the middle of the folded panels, and are available in a variety of colors.
Honeycomb shades, as the name suggest, are composed of two panels of fabric that are connected in such a way so as to form a honeycomb. They might be room-darkening, if they have a mylar backing, or light-diffusing, if they do not.
Duettes are similar to honeycomb blinds, though they do not form the distinctive honeycomb pattern. Instead, they form a double-pleated pattern of two fabrics that are joined together.
These are a combination shade / blind made from a sheer fabric that, when viewed from the side, creates rows of S's for each fabric slat. These blinds are a challenge for more janitorial companies to clean, but not for DirtyBlinds.com of South Jersey.

Luminette Privacy Sheers are, like Silhouettes, a Hunter Douglas product that provide privacy in the horizontal direction. They function like vertical blinds, but are completely connected, from left to right. Rotating vanes allow or prohibit sunlight from entering the room.
The Vignette, or Roman Shade, is a room-darkening, fabric shade that folds up into itself, when pulled up. Janitorial companies struggle to clean these shades; we do not.
Vinyl Vertical Blinds are vertically hanging blinds that hang freely. They are not inter-connected and contain no cloth inserts.
These blinds, as the name suggest, hang freely, and are typically made of vinyl, have a weight on the bottom of each, and are interconnected by a chain.
